It was such a powerful way to end my 2011. A glass of pina colada, jager bomb, one shot of i don't remember what, plus a few shots of chivas and i was gone. I wasn't concussed, was still aware of things happening around me but just i couldn't control myself. I couldn't even stand that I need someone to carry me home. Luckily they are strong enough *aherm* I puked like nobody business and the only time i feel the same is whenever i got food poisoning *cough* I don't know i was so drunk because of my poor alcohol tolerance or is it partly due to my empty stomach when i went drinking but it was an experience. A very special one. I am still not feeling quite well now but i couldn't sleep. GG-ed. Anyway Happy New Year!!!! Guess no countdown for me today anymore. Once is enough. LOL

Like finally, I have been to Korea, my dream country. Just some interesting facts to share here. Firstly, Koreans are not all friendly. We saw uncles scolding others at train station every two days during the stay. Some shop owners are so rude that they actually scold you at the back loudly when u bargain too much. They also show you black face immediately if you refuse to buy. Besides, Koreans are not used to saying 'excuse me', they just push their way through a crowd. They don't really say 'sorry' when they step on others' feet as well. And one more thing, try not to take a train during peak hour as you don't walk into the train, you flow into it instead as you get pushed by. We even once met a girl who totally ignored us when I was trying to ask the way in English. Anyway, we did meet some real friendly and helpful Koreans. There was this girl who called up her friend and brought us a long way just to locate a restaurant we were looking for. There was also this couple trying to direct us even they themselves did not quite know the route by figuring out the way using their phones. Secondly, the chances of bumping into pretty girls or cute guys are indeed higher in Korea. Be it natural or plastic, they are seriously more good-looking. So slim, tall, fair and trendy. Thirdly, Korea is a total sin city. At least to me. I really had the shop-till-you-drop feeling there especially at that time they were having seoul summer sale. They also have freaking good food and desserts all served in pretty and cozy restaurants and cafes. I think I have gone much pickier towards desserts after this Korea trip. Both greed and gluttony huh. Sin eh? =P

I waited in front of the computer till the clock struck twelve. I hesitantly logged in to my student link and peeped on my result, praying hard this would be the last. Phew~ I graduated. Not fantastically, but I graduated. Still, I failed to hit my target but oh well luckily there is something to make me happy. I scored an A for my korean! Even though I did not manage to finish writing my essay in the exam! :) Next up would be me and mum going back to singapore. I need to start preparing for my korea trip while mum is to be Aidan's babysitter! It would be good for me having another companion but poor dad and sis would definitely feel the extra loneliness in penang.

Oh it's been a while. A long while since i last updated my blog. I just have the sudden urge to blog due to post exam.....emptiness? I truly treasure this kind of everyday-got-nothing-better-to-do moment. And yea I AM OFFICIALLY A UNI GRADUATE! Well, provided if i pass everything of course. *pray hard* By the way, sis-in-law is giving birth real soon! Probably by tonight or tomorrow. So much looking forward to meeting this new addition to the family. Hello, Aidan :) Parents and sis are coming over this saturday to welcome this precious little one. Wheee i am no longer home alone~ So much good news awaited right after my final paper. These indeed make my day despite me screwing up my last ever paper in the morning. ^^ :D :)

Honestly speaking, if you ask me was it fun or which is the most recommended attraction, i don't know. But, i did enjoy the chilly weather, the fresh air and ultimately the breathtaking sceneries. Oh yea, not forgetting those hot babes and hunks too. I guess it would be better for me to stay there with bunch of eye candies walking around. Woots. Omo Korea is still my number one though :)

We touched down at Perth airport around 12AM. Yes. Its AM. I was held back at the customs. Firstly they said my passport was not scanned properly in Singapore, then they said i don't exactly look like the photo in my passport. After asking me to lift up my fringe to show them my bare face and a few stupid questions, they let me go. According to my friend, they troubled me a lot because i am holding a Malaysia passport. Diao. Then, we went to the car rental counter to check on our reservation only to discover that Jetstar had mistakenly cancelled our Budget booking. We went for Avis and now only they tell us we are not allowed to rent a 8 seater car because we are all under 25. WTH. The only way to continue with our road trip plan is to rent two 5 seater cars since we can't possibly squeeze 6 ppl in a car with lots of baggages on hand. This definitely would increase our expenses and chances of losing our ways and contacts with each other. Unlucky right? Well, there are more to come. On me. Only.

We overnight at the airport until 7AM then took a cab to city center to take our cars. On the way, we chit chat with the ah neh driver and coincidentally he had an extra 8 seater car to rent us! It's sort of 'illegal' so we got the car at a cheaper price. Then, we went to buy some groceries and i din close my water bottle properly and it drenched my handbag and pants. Eww. While i was cleaning up the mess, i accidentally knocked on my left eye and my contact lens dropped off! I found it nowhere even with my friends helping me to search thoroughly in the car. My mood seriously fell to abyss by that time. Damn suei wei.

Hall 5 people wash shoes using washing machines. Hello, the washing machines are shared. You are not the only one who use the washing machines! Please be more civic-minded! No wonder the washing machines stink all the while.

Hall 5 people don't flush after using toilet. Why are there people on earth so lazy to even push a button? The toilet smells shitty and ammonic 24/7! No matter how much shampoo i use when i bathe, it's futile. I need to hold my breath and get myself out of the toilet as soon as possible. Be more hygienic can? It's good for both you and others. Another thing about the toilet. It's so small and 'uncovered' that people feel insecure bathing. Low crime doesn't mean no crime ok? There may be peeping toms around who knows.

Hall 5 room has two fans while others have only one. Woah! Two fans! Two wall fans that oscillate 180 degrees. Cool right? If i stay in my room for the whole day during weekends, i will become a roasted pig at the end of the day. Besides, there are two dangling bulbs which are barely bright. Now i can see why. The sun shines directly into my room as early as 7am in the morning. We don't need much light from the bulbs! I can hardly sleep pass 11am in hall 5 while i can sleep until 4pm in hall 10. Alright, i know i am kind of powerful. Tsk tsk.

Hall 5 has a lot of staircase. Everywhere staircase. Outside every room. Outside toilet. And the laundry and pantry are underground. I actually fell down right outside my room few days ago. =X

That's the thing about hall 5 you see. I shall not complain too much. With the cut off point of 17, i doubt that i can even get a hall next semester. Sigh. NTU seriously anti you huh.

The hell week is over. Having 2 quizzes and 2 presentations consecutively in 3 days seriously kills. Tomorrow will be the last day of my second year. Next up will be final exams and right after that it comes my professional attachment. Time passes huh. Now i can already foresee the scene I am being scolded by my supervisor. Everyday maybe?? How pathetic that will be. Sigh. I got a little bit homesick all of a sudden. Probably it's been long since i last talked to my mum. I can go back home next week actually. But, should i? I am definitely NOT going to be productive at home. It's way too comfy mannnnnn. For the sake of my degree, guess i will need to stick to the original plan, going back only in July. *cry out loud* Just wanted to post some photos taken today. It's finally over. I will have more time to study from now on but this also marks an end to my weeks of dance practices. Honestly speaking I din't really enjoy hall dance practice much in the first place. I found it a little waste of time. But after a while, I did enjoy practicing with my dance people especially when performance and competition are around the corner. Everyone put in full effort to churn out a good show and we bonded to each other more during that 'critical' period. I missed my flight yesterday! It was at 0925 and i reached airport by 0900! Power. Salute me. I yang miang thought i could check in last minute like i always do, who knows stupid jetstar counter closed THAT EARLY. I was so desperately asking around but in the end i found no jetstar representative! Not even one! Wtf wtf wtf. My RM75 is gone. Sunk cost huh. So ignore it. To get back to singapore on time (for my tuition preparation) i bought another tiger airways ticket at RM168. Ehhhh nooooo it should be RM185 due to RM17 credit card surcharge. *gasp* omo my air ticket is nearly more expensive than my tuition pay =X

It's been long since my last post. Here's a little update.

Attended hall dance camp. I have a weird kind of feeling after that which i don't really know why. *rolling eyes* By the way competition will be at the end of February. Good luck to me. XD

I have started giving tuition in January. Guess what, it's at Serangoon. SERANGOON. It takes me one and a half hour travelling time and so i need to wake up at 6.30AM on Saturdays! My lovely weekends are gone T.T Besides, P1 kids are seriously not easy to handle. They are just way too hyper. I was so shagged after the 3 hour tuition although there were just 4 of them. Anyway, for money, i will do it :D

To escape from ns, my sis has gone for January intake in Disted. She has just moved into hostel yesterday. I will definitely miss you much sis. Thanks for the good care taken while i was having food poisoning back in NTU. :))

Attended personal branding class this morning. It's kind of fun as the instructor indeed stuffed quite a lot of important info into us. To my surprise, visual actually comprises of 55% during interview, while verbal and vocal consists of 7% and 38% respectively. Humans are visual animals. Especially GUYS. :) Well, I have caught a flu on tuesday night. As usual, wayward me have decided to take pills and some chinese medicine offered by my roomie to see whether they cure. Thus it ends up now that i have got a fever, a flu, sore throat, painful jaw and headache. In the end, i still have to go to medical centre, waited there for 1 hour, got to talk to the doctor for less than 10 minutes and finally got 5 medicines! The doctor said, " Oh you have a fever, do you need MC? " yea yea of course, I love MC XD Pray hard for me k? I need a speedy recovery to go to DnD this saturday :) Okay. It's time to take medicine and SLEEP. I have not been resting well for 2 days as i kept sneezing the whole night and going to toilet countlessly due to over drink of water. Im exactly like a panda now! Y

Lessons of the day :

1) Girls start aging since puberty. OMG. EAT MORE FRUITS as they contain antioxidants. This is the most effective way to prevent aging.

2) When you are dressing up, SHOW ONLY 1 ASSET! And make sure the asset shown is an asset! Chim desu.

OK. I just had a trim on my fringe. Since I had 4 hours break, I went to JP to cut my overly grown fringe. After asking the price from Chapter 2, I have decided to cut my hair there since its only $6. Well my friend told me afterwards that she cut her fringe for $2 only. When the stylist was still halfway cutting, i opened my eyes and i was stunned. How come my fringe is so thin that my eyebrow is visible? I thought i've told her not to trim too much??? GG-ed. So it ends up that my fringe now is long on the right side while short on the left, thick on the left while thin on the right! So you can now obscurely see my right eyebrow but not left one. Hmm...chim right? Chapter 2, you have spoilt my mood for today =( And i will have a mock interview tomorrow. Im so going to skip the lesson but it comprises 10% of the grade. Damn it. Hopefully the class ends earlier tml at 10.30 as it's Union Day and that my tutor doesn't get to ask too much questions from me. Pray hard.

Lesson for today : Do not cut hair at JP Chapter 2.

FOC is finally over. For some reasons, im a little bit upset over that. =( School starts and now i have to revert back to normal life. After 3 months of cho bo-ing, even holding a pen and scribble is such a difficulty to me. I have just attended my very first lecture of this semester which is Globalisation of English. This module is the only elective that i've got and it's so not me right? I wonder how could i survive through it. LOL. I need another elective so please grant me korean language during add drop period can??? *pray hard*

I walked miles yesterday!!! We went for a trip in the zoo and of course we are not that stupid to pay for the blood sucking entrance fees. We have member card and so we could enter free of charge!!! It's only been few years back since i last visited the zoo but it has been renovated quite alot. This is one of the major differences between singapore and malaysia. Malaysia tends to stay stagnant and maintain the status quo. == We have been in the zoo like half a day, playing and posing around like 3 big kids. Then we went to Singapore Plaza, wanting to watch Public Enemies or Overheard since we have free tickets but there's only 1st two lines left so we opted for clarke quay. I have been wanting to experience the night life there but I have got a 'so so' feeling yesterday maybe i was so shag after so long hour of walking. After that we went to have famous tao huey. It's good but not really special though. And then we walked to chinatown to eat chicken rice. The tao fu is real nice lah!!!

Senior camp is over. Finally i have compensated my lovely sleeping bugs with all the sleeping time they need. As the day before senior camp started, the hiao me ordered teh peng before sleeping and i've got insomnia the night itself. The 1st night of senior camp, i was able to sleep for less than 3 hours because i didn't know how to open a picasa account *all hail me* while the 2nd night of 3 hours sleep is due to the long and naggy debriefing section. Being a photographer is not an easy job huh as we need to do all those trivial things where other VIPs don't need to. == Anyway, i guess im pretty lucky to be in Sakae as there isn't any hyper ss or extra on ppl since i couldn't mix well with such ppl. Can't help, it's just like water and oil theory. XD

OH..EM..GEEEEE!!! There are only 10 days left before the curtain call of my holidays. I don't want to start a new sem. I don't want going back to singapore. I just want to stay home..ohm..ohm..om..mm~~ *sobs* Okay stop ranting.

By the way should i go to senior camp or Macau? *eyebrows wiggling* There's no need to pay a penny for senior camp while going to Macau renders my dad's wallet slender. (since i have no ~~input~~ income and i don't have any saving =X) I would probably need to scrape and screw through the following months so as to make myself feel not-so-guilty. (which i don't think i can make it as my to-buy-list is getting longer =X) BUT!!!! Macau is FUN and senior camp is NOT. This is the MAIN point!!! Headache betul. Nvm, i think i will only make the decision when time comes. =)))

The power of boredom is so formidable it actually changes me. Instead of rummaging through the clothes in forever 21, mango etc. i have chosen to bury myself in piles of books in popular or borders whenever i go shopping. It's amazing rite? This is however a temporary effect. It's partly due to the sucky condition of my hair which renders me kind of mirrorphobic lately. And i guess it would not be tracked down once i get back to singapore where loads of tempting clothing shops are easily accessible. There's less than a month time. Im definitely going to be super duper uber emo lah. Poor me. However, i have finished My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. A not-so-happy story with a sad ending, containing lots of medical terms which remind me of my 1 sem pharmacy life in IMU. I don't know how to rate the book but i would say its a good one. Next im going to hunt down My Best Friend's Girl by Dorothy Koomson. Hee.

(sounds like the life of a vampire huh) 4D3N trip in medan was indeed an eye-opening one as Malaysia is much more developed and the gap between rich and poor is not that exaggerated as in Indonesia. I feel so empty. The other part of my room now is cleared. Khe Shin has officially and physically left NTU. Honestly i feel abit lost as im kinda dependent on her. A belated one.

Finally i've got a more "special" kind of xmas celebration. Went for S1 gathering on xmas eve at tambun instead of the usual Autocity. According to sotong, this is to avoid crowd. Surprised to see me turning up in S1 gathering right? Bo bian lah ccj said want to see me wor. LOL. We chit chat talk crap at tambun till 10++ but the most interesting topic still the one about others' relationship status. XD After that, we switched to another cafe to continue on our inquisitive mission until 12++. Aww we forgot to take a group photo before going back. Since it was so late d and i dun wish to drive back alone, i decided to stay overnight at yyf's house. I was so extremely indeed very happy yesterday. ^^ Thanks YJ n CH for being such a great companions. Orchard Road ---> Marina Square ---> Suntec City. In the first place, i was unable to get myself anything. And i thought that i wouldn't be getting anything on that day. Who knows once i stepped into marina square, i totally lost control. lol. And guess what, I have got 1 Ripcurl dress and another 1 from Miss Selfridge. I just dun care the two bellboys' opinions even though they said i look horrible in the dresses XD Im just so in Y with my dresses. LOL. Stubborn sia. Opps. My dad is going to cry soon when he receive the credit card bill. Sorry dad. I have not been shopping for long. ToT Btw. I think my market value will drop drastically after this post. Lao jiao CH likes to take candid photos in which i look super terrible!! Bo bian la. Dats the cost of hiring them to be my bellboys and shopping partners. =) I treasure the chats and laughters among us ler though we are from year 1 year 2 and year 3 respectively. Such a weird combination rite? =P
